ArmRosgasprom atop largest taxpayers’ 1st h 2012 ranking

ArmRosgasprom CJSC, which enjoys the sole right of importing and distributing natural gas in Armenia, is topping the Jan-June 2012 list of the country’s largest taxpayers, the company’s press office reported on Monday.
YEREVAN, July 30. /ARKA/. ArmRosgasprom CJSC, which enjoys the sole right of importing and distributing natural gas in Armenia, is topping the Jan-June 2012 list of the country’s largest taxpayers, the company’s press office reported on Monday.

According to the State Revenue Committee, the company transferred AMD 18.2 billion to the government budget in the first half of this year. 

ArmRosgasprom’s subsidiaries are included in the list as well - its Transgas sent AMD 2.08 billion to the government budget and was placed 18th in the ranking, and its another subsidiary, Transgasstroy came 501st in the ranking after it paid AMD 82.8 million in the 1st H 2012. 

ArmRosgasprom’s A-E-J-Service company ranked 116th for transferring AMD 368.8 million to the budget. 

ArmRosgasprom also ranked third for its mandatory social insurance payments among 1,000 largest payers. Its social insurance pays amounted to AMD 841 million in the first half of this year. 

In this list, A-E-J-Service with its AMD 133.35 million came 38th, Transgasstroy with AMD 27.6 million 209th and Avtogas with AMD 13.25 million 486th. 

With its 5,898 workers, ArmGasprom was the second largest employer among commercial guarantor organizations in the first half year of this year. 

A-E-J-Service ranked 26th – 978 people work here. Transgas with its 837 employees came 35th, Transgasstroy with 148 people 281st and Avtogas with 113 people 386th in the 1st H 2012 ranking. 

ArmRosgasprom was established in 1997. Russia’s Gazprom holds 80% of the company’s shares and the remaining 20% belong to Armenian government.-0---
