YEREVAN, January 10. /ARKA/. Average nominal monthly salary in Armenia was 150,960 drams ($373 or 12,204 rubles) in November, 0.1% lower than in the month before, ArmStat reported.
Average nominal monthly salary was 151,117 drams in October, 2.2% increase against September 2013 and 6% increase compared to October 2012.
According to the latest statistical data, the highest average nominal salary in October was in Syunik province – over 185,776 drams, and the lowest in Aragatsotn – about 104,722 drams. The average nominal monthly salary was over 164,364 drams in Yerevan.
In October the highest average nominal monthly salaries were paid in finance and insurance sectors - about 341,700 drams. The salaries were 312,400 drams and about 304,100 drams in communication and mining respectively.
The lowest-paid sectors were culture and recreation (over 90,000 drams), education (102,600 drams) and other services sector (103,170 drams). ($1=406.61drams). –0--
