Azerbaijan to attend BSECO foreign-ministerial meeting in Yerevan
YEREVAN, December 9. /ARKA/. Azerbaijan will attend the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization’s 29th foreign ministerial meeting, which will be hosted by Yerevan on December 12, Azerbaijan’s APA agency reports referring to Elman Abdullaev, the head of the Azerbaijani foreign ministry’s press office.
Abdullaev was quoted by the news agency as saying that Azerbaijan will be represented at this session by Shovgi Mekhtizade, chief of the ministry’s economic cooperation division.
Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu voiced his intention to attend the meeting in Yerevan.
The Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization has united 12 Black Sea and South Balkan countries - Armenia, Azerbaijan, Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.
