Biggest supermarket in Benin opened by Armenian and named Аrarat

YEREVAN, February 18. /ARKA/. The biggest supermarket in Benin is opened by an Armenian and named Ararat, Aniset Gabriel Kochofa, Benin's ambassador to Armenia, said Tuesday as met with Araik Vardanyan, executive director of the Commerce and Industry Chamber of Armenia.

The ambassador was quoted by the Commerce and Industry Chamber's press office as saying that his country's leadership is interested in closer economic ties with Armenia.  

He pointed out energy and natural resources as well as food and agriculture machinery industries as promising areas for cooperation. 

Araik Vardanyan, on his side, stressed the necessity of creating comprehensive information groundwork for organizing meetings between the two countries' entrepreneurs. --0----
