Bonilat dairy products have microbial contamination

Armenia’s State Food Safety Service detected microbial contamination in dairy products of Bonilat brand, spokesman for the Service Babken Pipoyan told journalists Friday.
YEREVAN, July 27. /ARKA/. Armenia’s State Food Safety Service detected microbial contamination in dairy products of Bonilat brand, spokesman for the Service Babken Pipoyan told journalists Friday.
The products were probed in warehouses of the company and shops, he added.
“We have detected microbial contamination only in the products kept in the warehouse. After the warehouse was totally sanitized, we took patterns of the products again and found no microbial contamination any more. That is why the company is allowed to continue its operation,” Pipoyan informed.
Most likely Bonilat company will be fined 300,000 drams which is the maximal penalty for such cases, he added.
Bonilat Ltd. produces dairy products and cheese. Garik Sarukhyan is a founder of the company who also runs Artsakh Fruit and Biokat companies. —0--
