BP does not expect radical changes in oil prices until 2035

YEREVAN, January 15. / ARKA /.  According to BP vice president in Russia, Vladimir Drebentsov,
no radical changes in the price of oil are expected until 2035, RBC reported.

Speaking at a gathering of experts, he said despite revolutionary changes in the methods of production of oil and the U.S. becoming the global leader in production of liquid hydrocarbons in 2013, BP does not expect the role of OPEC in world oil markets to decline, neither in the short nor in the long term.

He also spoke of major changes in natural gas markets, regarding not only the prospects of spread of “shale revolution», but to a greater extent  the emergence of new manufacturers and suppliers of gas, including Israel, Iraq , Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan , as well as  Africa - a continent that is becoming a significant player , also Turkmenistan, which has already entered the fast-growing gas Chinese leaving Russia behind. -0-
