Brazil is interested in expanding cooperation with Armenia
YEREVAN, March 11. / ARKA /. Brazil is interested in expanding cooperation with Armenia, its deputy foreign minister Vera Machado said at a meeting with Armenian foreign minister Edward Nalbandian in Yerevan.
Machado was quoted by Armenian foreign ministry as saying that she has arrived in Armenia on a working visit to seek ways to expand Armenian-Brazilian cooperation.
Minister Nalbandian noted in turn that Armenia attaches importance to development of bilateral relations with Brazil and expressed confidence that both countries can work together to make better use of their cooperation expansion capacity.
According to him, to step up bilateral relations the sides need first of all to strengthen their legal framework, deepen economic and trade cooperation, and strengthen cooperation between the two countries in international organizations. During the meeting they discussed also a number of regional and international issues. -0-
