YEREVAN, December 4. /ARKA/. Construction fell by 8.8% to 294.3 billion drams in Armenia in January-October as compared to the same period of the year before, ArmStat reported.
Population-funded construction amounted to 82.1 billion drams or 27.9% of the entire construction volume (19% increase).
Construction funded by organizations was 129.4 billion drams or 44% of the overall volume (19.7% reduction). Construction financed from humanitarian aid was 7.3bln drams or 2.5% (18.5% increase), that from state budget – 44.1bln drams or 15% (12% reduction), from community funds – 8.1bln drams or 2.8% (17.6% reduction).
Construction works funded from international loans amounted to about 23 billion drams or 7.8% (12.9% reduction), including 7,463.4 mln from the World Bank, 1,675.9 million from the EBRD, 6,471.6mln from the Asian Development Bank, 5,593.0mln drams from KfW and 1,864.8mln drams from others.
