Development strategy for Armenia’s 5 economic sectors to be presented to industrial council
YEREVAN, July 23. /ARKA/. Development programs and plans of activities for five economic spheres have already been designed under the strategy of export oriented industrial policy, Economy Minister of Armenia Tigran Davtyan told journalists on Monday.
According to him, the programs and plans will be presented to the Industrial Council within a next couple of days.
The designed concepts refer to brandy and wine production, pharmaceutics, exact engineering, jewelry sectors.
“These are the spheres which we have presented for discussion to public, business community and interested sides,” he said.
Economy Ministry has also held meetings of the Council focusing on developing strategies for other spheres too.
The industrial policy strategy, adopted on December 15 of 2011 by the Government of Armenia, contains three phases of development for 11 spheres.—0--
