Economic activity in Armenia went 2.2% up in March 2015, compared with March 2014, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.

Economic activity in Armenia rises 2.2% in March 2015

YEREVAN, April 20. /ARKA/. Economic activity in Armenia went 2.2% up in March 2015, compared with March 2014, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.

Consumer prices in the country rose 5.8% and prices of manufacturers of industrial products 4.8% in March 2015, compared with the same month a year earlier.

Industrial output in March 2015 totaled AMD104.9 billion showing a 4% year-on-year growth.

Agriculture accounted for AMD 31.9-billion output and 5.7% year-on-year growth in March 2015, construction for about AMD 22.8 billion output and no growth, domestic trade for AMD 173 billion and 5.5% decline and services for AMD 89.3 billion and 2.8% growth.

Armenia's foreign trade turnover amounted to about $352.7 million in March 2015 showing a 29.9% year-on-year decline.

In the government budget for 2015, GDP growth is projected at 4.1%. ---0----

Construction volume in Armenia increased by 20.6% in the first 10 months, exceeding 551 billion drams

The volume of construction work in Armenia from January to October 2025 amounted to 551,434.5 million drams (in current prices), an increase of 20.6% compared to January to October 2024, according to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
