Economic relations between Armenia and France not satisfactory - ambassador
YEREVAN, July 13. /ARKA/. The French Ambassador to Armenia, Jean-Francois Charpentier, finds economic relations between the two countries not satisfactory.
In his words, political relationship between the two countries is highly developed, while economic relations fall short in comparison.
The ambassador pointed out that trade turnover between the countries mounted to only €50 million a year, but despite that France is involved in Armenia’s economy a great deal.
French entrepreneurs have had no idea about opportunities of Armenia’s market for long, he said, while now many big companies express their interest in the Armenian market.
Charpentier said Armenia is also considered as a platform for entering markets of Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union. --0---
