YEREVAN, July 31. /ARKA/. “Electric Networks of Armenia” closed joint stock company has made clarifications on the decision by the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) to impose a fine of 15 million drams (about 37,000 dollars) on the company.
On Wednesday, the commission decided to impose a penalty of 15 million drams on the company for violations of a number of legal requirements set by the commission. According to the commission, the company has not reached an agreement with Mikmetal, the owner of a building at Adonts street 8 to be used for the purposes of Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA). The decision was made as the company has not responded to Mikmetal’s proposals in written and has not reflected the respective data in its reports, ENA says.
The company said the discussion between ENA and Mikmetal on possible terms of their property relations is beyond the competence of the Public Services Regulatory Commission, according to the report.
The company also said Mikmetal addressed them not as customers, hence, the information was not reflected in the company’s reporting.
The PSRC’s decision says the company ahs the right to appeal against the decision, and the respective decision will be made by the company in near future, says the report.
