YEREVAN, December 17. / ARKA /. United Arab Emirates’ national airline Etihad Aiways will commence flights to Armenia’s capital Yerevan. The news was announced by Armenia - International Airports, which said the agreement came after intensive talks involving also Armenian travel agency Visa Concord.
The flights between Abu Dhabi and Yerevan will begin from July 2014. Currently, flights between the two countries are operated by another airline from the United Arab Emirates - Fly Dubay.
Etihad Airways, founded in 2003, is one of the fastest growing commercial airlines in the world. It runs 66 aircraft, which operate more than 1,000 flights per week to 84 passenger and cargo destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and North America . -0-
