Eurnekian’s company buys former Justice Minzistry’s land in downtown Yerevan

YEREVAN, July 19. /ARKA/. Tango is the name of a company owned by an Argentine businessman of Armenian descent, Eduardo Eurnekian, that was allowed by the Armenian government today to buy a chunk of land in downtown Yerevan that used to host the building of the ministry of justice that was destroyed by a fire in 2008 February. 

Under the government decision, the land will be privatized through direct sale at its cadastre cost. According to the draft government decision, the buyer will commit to build a new building of public importance on the same site by 2015 June 30.

Eurnekian is the owner of Armenia-International Airports, operating Armenia’s international airport Zvartnots. He has also made large investments in Armenian agriculture and holds the majority stake in Converse Bank. -0-
