Expert: price increase monitoring commission needed in Armenia
YEREVAN, August 22. /ARKA/. A commission should be set up in Armenia to monitor increases in prices for foodstuffs and non-foods, founder and chairman of Informed and Protected Consumer non-governmental organization Babken Pipoyan said.
Armenian consumer market of foodstuffs and nonfoods is governed by chaos today, he said, and consumers suffer because no control is maintained over prices, Pipoyan told a press conference Thursday.
Another serious problem is no labelling in Armenian on a number of nonfoods which confuses consumers, the expert said. –0--
