YEREVAN, December 6. /ARKA/. The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) will allocate $459,000 to Armenia under a vegetable seed farming project in 2014, Armenia’s deputy minister of agriculture Garnik Petrosyan told reporters Thursday.
The funds will be used to automate collection and processing of seeds and, hence, to increase the yield, he said.
The project is expected to start at the end of January – beginning of February 2014, the deputy minister said. –0--
