YEREVAN, May 20. /ARKA/. Faults in exporting Armenian fishes to Russia are already corrected, Arthur Atoyan, the head of the Association of Armenian Fish Breeders and Exporters, told ARKA News Agency on Tuesday.
According to the information provided by the Association, only one economic entity exports fish products from Armenia to Russia. Rosselkhoznadzor, Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, has found faults in the exported products and warned the exporter.
«Certain irregularities were found in transportation of products, but not in products themselves,» Atoyan said adding that things have been put right thanks to joint work. «Besides, thanks to Rosselkhoznadzor's support, the list of the economic entities exporting fish products to Russia may be extended.»
According to the Armenian agriculture ministry's reports, Armenia's fish output grew by 2,800 tons in 2013, compared with the previous year, to 11,600 tons. --0----
