YEREVAN, December 19. /ARKA/. Four harvest combines will be imported into Armenia in January and February 2015, Grisha Baghiyan first deputy agriculture minister, said Friday at a news conference. 

«The agriculture ministry is studying demand for combines and is taking measures to solve problems,» he said. «Four combines were brought to Armenia this year.» 

In his words, there were 15,000 tractors, 18,000 units of other agriculture machinery and 1,355 harvest combines in the country in early January 2014. 

About 90% of this machinery had been produced yet in Soviet epoch. Baghiyan said that Armenia is periodically buying agricultural machines from Russia and Belarus. 

In 2013 and 2014, 288 tractors and 150 units of other farming equipment were brought to Armenia from Belarus. ---0----
