YEREVAN, July 25. /АРКА/. Gazprom Armenia is topping Armenian State Revenue Committee’s 2nd Q list of 1000 largest taxpayers.
According to the data, the company paid AMD 23.9 billion over a period between January and June 2014.
Of this amount, AMD 23.4 billion was collected directly by tax agencies and AMD 219.9 million by customs services.
Direct taxes totaled AMD 2.28 billion (profit and income taxes), indirect taxes AMD 21.5 billion (including VAT and excise tax) and other taxes, duties and obligatory payments AMD 175.9 million.
K-Telecom was the second biggest taxpayer of Armenia in the second quarter of this year. It sent over AMD 10.2 billion to the government budget in Apr-June 2014 against AMD 11.2 billion at the same period a year before. Of this amount, AMD 9.8 billion was paid to tax agencies and 373.5 million to customs services.
Alex Grig, with its AMD 9.6 billion paid in Jan-June 2014 against 6.7 billion a year earlier, came third in the Armenian State Revenue Committee’s ranking.
Armenia Telephone Company ranked fourth with its AMD 8.6 billion paid in Apr-June 2014 against AMD 7.5 billion paid at the same period of the previous year.
Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine was placed fifth in the list with its AMD 6 billion paid in Jan-June 2014 against 12.8 billion in Jan-June 2013. ($1 – AMD 406.56). --0----
