Gazprom mejregionhaz may move to Petersburg before the end of the year. Gazprom export has taken12,300 square meters on lease in Senator business center. A total of five Gazprom departments and several affiliates operate their offices in Petersburg.
Gazprom’s departure will make the capital lose part of its taxes. Tax receipts of Moscow budget could be about 160 billion rubles in 2012 (no information available for 2013), analyst of Ankorinvest Sergey Vakhrameev said.
Impact on Moscow budget could be even graver if Gazprom did not declare themselves a consolidated group of taxpayers in 2012 and did not distribute the tax payments between the regions. –0--
