Government to release additional money for government officials foreign visits
YEREVAN, October 18. / ARKA /. The Armenian government on Thursday decided to reallocate the budget to reimburse the additional costs caused by foreign trips of government officials.
"There was a need to increase the size of the stabilization fund of the government, as well as to increase the funds earmarked for covering the costs related to foreign trips of officials by 12.1 and 0.1 billion drams respectively," deputy finance minister Pavel Safarian said at today’s government session.
Safarian also said that after making these changes the Stabilization Fund will be equal to 4% of budget expenditures, while the limit stipulated by the legislation is 5%. The 2012 budget had earmarked 3.4 billion drams for foreign trips of government officials. (407.69 drams). -0-
