YEREVAN, July 29. /ARKA/. Grozny Avia intends to start operating charter flights from Simferopol International Airport to Instanbul, Antalya and Yerevan, Sergey Petrov, the air company’s commercial director, said Tuesday at a news conference.
He told journalists that the route to Istanbul is most demanded in Simferopol, that the flights to this Turkish city are planned to be launched in mid-August and that first charter flights to Yerevan and Antalya will be operated in September or October.
The Simferopol-Yerevan flight will be direct, while flights to Istanbul and Antalya will be with a refueling landing in Anapa, Novosti-Armenia reports referring to RIA Novosti.
Petrov said that the air company has already obtained Russian aviation authorities’ permission and is now waiting for authorization from Armenia and Turkey. The matter is being discussed by diplomats..-0----
