Karabakh premier meets with Hayastan All-Armenian Fund
STEPANAKERT, September 24. /ARKA/. Prime-minister of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Ara Harutiunyan met with representatives and donors of US local body of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, the press office of NKR’s government reported.
The head of the government stressed the importance of the cooperation between Karabakh authorities and the Fund.
US local body of the Fund has been always participating in programs aimed at development of Artsakh (Armenian name for Karabakh), Harutiunyan said.
Karabakh premier addressed a number of current and forthcoming programs, construction of strategic Vardenis-Mardakert motor road in particular. The road construction will be paid from the funds raised during the upcoming telethon of the Fund.
The Fund representatives, in their turn, expressed their gratitude to the premier for reception and detailed information about the situation in the country. They also said they witnessed new achievements in Artsakh.
The meeting was attended also by the head of Karabakh office of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Valery Ghazaryan.
The Hayastan All-Armenian Fund was founded by Presidential Decree in 1992. Its mission is implementation of national projects and development of infrastructures in Armenia and the NKR. –0—
