YEREVAN, February 10. / ARKA /. Nagorno-Karabakh president Bako Sahakyan traveled Saturday to the village of Mokhrenes in Hadrut region to meet with its residents and learn firsthand their problems. Sahakyan’s press office reported.
It said the president instructed relating government agencies to address the resident’s problems, stressing that development of rural areas is one of the key objectives of the government.
He was accompanied by parliament speaker Ashot Ghulyan and prime minister Ara Harutyunyan.
In another news from Nagorno-Karabakh, its government has opened an official page on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/NKR.gov in order ‘to increase transparency and publicity of the government.”
"It will also allow citizens to be in touch with the government, to ask questions and make suggestions," the government said.
