YEREVAN, February 18. /ARKA/. A Lebanese entrepreneur says he is ready to start a nut processing business in Armenia, Lebanese ambassador to Armenia Jean Macaron said at his meeting with Armenian minister of agriculture Sergo Karapetyan Monday.
Recently Lebanese businessmen show interest in Armenia’s agriculture and are willing to make investments in the country, the ambassador said as cited by the press office of the ministry.
Macaron asked for information on possible state support to these entrepreneurs.
The ambassador said Lebanese businessmen are willing to participate in agricultural exhibitions in Armenia. The minister, in response, expressed readiness to invite Lebanese entrepreneurs to Armprodexpo held in Yerevan every October.
Karapetyan said he is ready to do his best for supporting the businessmen who make investments in the country.
The minister briefed the ambassador on the situation in agriculture and stressed the importance of the role Armenian Lebanese play in strengthening the bilateral relations. –0--
