YEREVAN, June 30. /ARKA/. Money supply in Armenia amounted to AMD 1 574.4 billion in late May 2014 after growing 1.5% over the month, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports referring to the central banks’ preliminary figures.
Cash outside of banks amounted to about AMD 342 billion in late May against AMD 335.1 billion in late April.
Demand deposits in drams totaled 191.2 billion in late May against 190.2 billion in late April and time deposits in drams totaled about AMD 288 billion against AMD 281.7 billion. Deposits in foreign currencies totaled AMD 753.1 billion against AMD 743.7 billion.
Money multiplier was 2.09 in late May after rising 0.04 points over the month. ($1- AMD 407.58)..-0----
