STEPANAKERT, September 9. /ARKA/. Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Prime Minister Ara Harutyunyan said Monday in an interview with ARKA News Agency that Armenia would benefit from its membership in the Customs Union.
“I am convinced that it will have favorable impacts on Armenia,” he said adding that he has no precise calculations so far.
Armenian and Russian presidents, Serzh Sargsyan and Vladimir Putin, made a joint statement after they met in Moscow on Tuesday unveiling Armenia’s decision to join the Customs Union and its intention to take part in formation of Eurasian Economic Union in the future. ---0---
