YEREVAN, July 14. /ARKA/. No irregularities have been found in the plant products imported in Armenia over one year, Arthur Nikoyan, chief of the phitosanitary inspection of the Armenian agriculture ministry’s food safety agency, said Monday at a news conference.
In his words, exporters, being aware of phitosanitary norms in Armenia, didn’t send wrong products here.
“One year ago, we introduced a system controlling plant products’ safety and examining foods for presence of nitrates and pesticides,” he said. -0-----
