YEREVAN, May 31. / ARKA /. In May non-food prices in Armenia rose by 0.3 percent from April, according to the National Statistical Service (NSS).
It said prices of goods for personal use rose by 0.3 %, prices of footwear upped by 0.4 %, medication prices went up by 0. 4 %, furniture prices rose by 0.5%, clothing and embroidery prices increased by 0.6 %, kitchen utensils prices upped by 0.8% and consumer electronics prices rose by 1.1%.
Prices of textiles rose by 0.1 %, prices of carpets by 0. 2% and prices of building materials rose by 0.2%.
However, prices of recreational goods fell by 4.8%, prices of stationery products dropped by 0.5%, fuel prices fell by 0.4 %, prices of detergents went down by 0.4 % and beauty products fell by 0.1%.
In May food prices decreased by 1.5%. -0-
