Over 155,000 real property deals made in Armenia over 11 months in 2012

YEREVAN, January 9. /ARKA/. Purchase/sell real property deals slashed by 8.2 percent in January-November 2012 year over year to 155, 543, according to the report of the State Committee of Real Property Cadastre of Armenia.

The highest number of deals within the reported period was recorded in Yerevan—36.1% of the total number, and the smallest number—Vayots Dzor region (2.1%).

Kotayk region accounted for 12%, Lori—6.8%, Gegharkunik—7.4%, Armavir—7.1%, Shirak—6.3%, Aragatsotn—6.4%, Ararat—7.6%, Tavush and Syunik—3.6% and 4.6% respectively.

According to the source, the deals on alienation of real property made up 27.2% of the total number of real estate operations. Initial registration of real property accounted for 12.1%. 

Also some 11.8 % of all transactions were inheritance of real property, 12.7% were collaterals, and 5.2% rents.

The other state registrations made up 31% in the reported period. It is noteworthy that no privatization transaction of immovable property was concluded in January-November 2012. –0-
