YEREVAN, February 1. /ARKA/. A total of 18,285 real estate transactions were effected in Armenia in December 2013, a 0.6% increase against the same period of the year before and an increase of 10.8% compared to November.
The highest number of estate transactions was recorded in Yerevan (35.2% of the overall number) and the lowest in Vayots Dzor province (2.7%).
Transactions effected in other regions of the country accounted for the following percentages – Kotayk 8.6%, Armavir 8%, Lori 7.8%, Gegharkunik 6.7%, Aragatsotn 5.8%, Shirak and Tavush 5.7% each and Siunik 5.1%.
According to the State Cadastre, 25.2% of all real property transactions were on disposal and 12.1% on primary registration.
Inheritance accounted for 10.7% of all transactions, mortgage for 15.5%, lease for 4.6% and other transactions for 31.9%.
No single privatization transaction was recorded in the country during the year. –0--
