Population- funded construction ups 34.1% to AMD 80 bln in Armenia over 11 months
YEREVAN, January 8. /ARKA/. The volume of construction works funded by population in Armenia rose 34.1% in January-November 2012 from the same period a year earlier, according to the National Statistical Service of Armenia.
Nearly 80 billion drams was injected into the construction works within the reported period, of them 74.7 billion was allocated into construction and erection works.
The population- funded construction accounted for 21% of total construction works—organizations funded- 42.6% (nearly 184.8 billion drams), construction via international credits – 8.4% (31.7 billion drams), via state budget means—16.2% (over 61.5 billion drams).
The total volume of the capital construction funded by all sources hit 380.1 billion drams. The statistics showed, in general, the construction sector reported 0.7-percent tumble from the analogical period in 2011. ($1 – 403.58 drams). -0-
