YEREVAN, December 12. /ARKA/. Armenia intends to export shoes and textile to the Customs Union countries, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said today at a parliamentary session while discussing the 2014 draft government budget with lawmakers.
He said that the government has approved the export-oriented strategies worked out in cooperation with the private sector for shoe and textile industries.
“We will get relative advantages in the light industry,” the premier is quoted by Novosti-Armenia. “These strategies imply restoration of former export volumes.”
Sargsyan also stressed that pharmaceutics, brandy, wine and IT industries have ensured twofold growth to their exports thanks to similar export-oriented strategies.---0---
