YEREVAN, August 24. ARKA /. Prices of goods and services imported to Armenia in the second quarter of 2013 grew by 1.3 percent from the year earlier, if measured in US Dollars, according to the Central Bank of the country. In the first quarter this indicator was 2.7 percent, the Central Иank said in its report on third quarter monetary policy.
The report ascribed the slowing growth in prices of imported goods and services to a slowdown in the rise of prices of commodities. As a result the rise in consume prices also slowed down.
According to the report, the prices of imported goods and services included in the subsistent basket in the reporting period grew by 7.5 percent year-on-year if measured in the national currency, the dram.. ($1-406.08 drams). -0-
