YEREVAN, December 16. /ARKA/. Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan is expecting the ministry of economy to make active, consistent and thorough efforts in the process of Armenia’s accession to the Customs Union.
These qualities are a must for the country in terms of the new process, the president said at a meeting in the ministry Friday.
Sargsyan also said everyone should understand the responsibility Armenia undertook in this respect.
Following the negotiations of Armenian and Russian presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Vladimir Putin on September 3, a statement was made about Armenia’s intention to join Russia-led Customs Union and to contribute to formation of the Eurasian Economic union. The roadmap for Armenia’s accession is expected to be signed at a meeting of the Eurasian Integration Union in Moscow on December 24. –0--
