YEREVAN, December 16. /ARKA/. Some 18,241 real estate transactions were registered in Armenia in October 2013 – 4.8% year-on-year growth, the State Real Estate Cadastre reports.
The number of deals increased 9.7% in October 2013, compared with the previous month.
The largest number of transactions was registered in Yerevan – 36.9% of the total number, and the smallest number in Vayots Dzor province – 1.6%.
Kotayk province accounted for 14.1% of the total number of transactions registered in the country in October, Lori for 5.1%, Gegharkunik for 5.1%, Armavir for 9.8%, Shirak for 5.5%, Aragatsotn for 4.6%, Ararat for 8.47%, Tavush for 3.9% and Syunik for 5%.
According to the report, immovable property alienation transactions made up 24.7% of the total real estate transactions registered in Armenia in October 2013, primary registration transactions 10.9%, heritage transactions 10.6%, mortgage transactions 12.5%, leasing transactions 3.6% and other state registrations 37.7%.
Remarkable is that not a single immovable property privatization transaction has been registered in Armenia this year. ---0----
