Subsistence cost shrinks 4.1% in Armenia in second quarter

YEREVAN, October 9. /ARKA/. The cost of the monthly subsistence in Armenia in average current prices fell 4.1% in the second quarter, compared with the previous quarter, to AMD 53073.3 in late June, and the annual subsistence amounted to AMD 636879.3 in late June, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports. 

According to the statistical report, in the second quarter, the cost of the monthly subsistence contracted by 4.1%, compared with the pervious quarter, and amounted to AMD 29984.9 in late June. 

Per-capita annual consumption of bread is 91.3 kilograms (AMD 40728.9) in the subsistence, meat products 36.5 kg (AMD 93659), potatoes 91.3 kg (20286.9), fruits 73 kg (AMD 34726.1), sugar 18.3 kg (AMD 8337.5), dairy products (AMD 71458), 182.5 eggs (AMD 10785.8), cooking oil 7.3 kg (AMD 5919.6), fish 11 kg (AMD 24053.7) and margarine 3.7 kg (AMD 4180.3). -0-
