YEREVAN, November 4. /ARKA/. Armenia’s government is ready to provide support for the program liberalization of the Armenian aviation, US ambassador to Armenia John Heffern said at his meeting with Armenia’s prime-minister Friday as quoted by the government press office.
At the same time, the ambassador congratulated the premier on the approval of the government program, according to the report.
The ambassador said turning to an “open air policy” will give a good opportunity for Armenia’s economic development and promotion of tourism.
The sides also discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation and implementation of new joint programs.
On October 23, Armenian government approved its program for liberalization of aviation services, which, according to the Armenian leadership, will help provide 1% economic growth, reduce air fare by 10% and create about 20,000 new jobs. –0--
