YEREVAN, February 5. /ARKA/. Yerevan's municipality intends to build seven pedestrian overpasses in the city, Vice-Mayor David Ohanyan told journalists on Wednesday adding that their locations are not chosen yet.
«The professional commission is already considering places for construction of new pedestrian crossings and will submit its proposals to the city mayor,» he said.
Ohanyan also said that 11 pedestrian overpasses were built in Yerevan within two years – seven in 2012 and four in 2013.
In his words, the city authorities are planning to provide bus stopping lanes with 30 schedule displays, and now there are 21 displays in Yerevan. He said the municipality also intended to increase the number of trash cans and benches on bus stopping lanes. -0---
