YEREVAN, June 16. / ARKA /. The next meeting of the Armenian-Russian Interparliamentary Cooperation Commission will be held in autumn in Yerevan, Hermine Naghdalyan, the vice-speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, said at a press conference in Russian Nizhny Novgorod after a regular meeting of the commission.
According to her, one of the main issues discussed by the gathering was about relations of SMEs of the two countries.
She said the sides agreed to establish a working group that will be dealing with improving the legislative framework and economic policies to stimulate the interaction of Armenian and Russian SMEs. She said the results of this work will be announced in autumn in Yerevan.
According to her, in the past the agenda of the commission was dominated by cultural and humanitarian issues; now the main focus is on economy.
"We understand that Armenia’s Eurasian integration opens for it a 270-million market and we want our accession terms to benefit all the sides," she added. -0-
