Armenian conscript shot himself, according to preliminary information
YEREVAN, February 1. /ARKA/. A conscript soldier Vardan Avagyan (born in 1980), according to preliminary information, shot himself with a submachine gun in one of Armenia’s military units Thursday evening, the press service of Armenian ministry of defence reported.
Criminal prosecution is brought under Penal Code article 110, part 1 (forced to commit suicide), according to the report.
The press service reports that the ministry of defence expresses its condolences and support to the family of Vardan Avagyan. -0-
