Conscript soldier killed, officer injured in car crash in south of Armenia
YEREVAN, January 17. /ARKA/. A conscript soldier was killed in a car accident occurred in the south of Armenia Wednesday 15:30 local time (the same as the Moscow time), the press service of Armenian ministry of defense reported. An officer who was also in the car with the soldier has been hospitalized.
An Ural car steered by a conscript soldier Arthur Gevorgyan drove off the roadside and fell into the gorge on Yerevan-Meghri road. Grigoryan was killed on impact, captain Husik Stepanyan was injured and is now in the hospital of Vayk in a grave condition, says the report.
Criminal prosecution is brought under article 377 part two of the Penal Code (traffic violations and causing death by careless driving). –0--
