Downtown Yerevan fire localized and put out
YEREVAN, October 31. / ARKA /. A fire in downtown Yerevan is localized and extinguished, the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations said. It said the fire on Firdus street, not far from Republican Square was reported at 17:56 local time. "The fire was localized at 18:23,» the ministry said.
Rescue Service Mj. Arsen Davtyan, said the house at the moment of fire was empty of people. He said information about the cause of the fire will be provided later.
According to witnesses and residents of nearby houses, the fire was preceded by a power surge. -0-
