Iranian citizen recovers damage to Armenian environment

Armenia’s office of prosecutor general said a damage caused by a traffic incident involving an Iranian citizen to Armenia’s environment that was estimated at 4.2 billion drams, was entirely recovered.

YEREVAN, May 22. / ARKA /. Armenia’s office of prosecutor general said a damage caused by a traffic incident involving an Iranian citizen to Armenia’s environment that was estimated at 4.2 billion drams, was entirely recovered.

According to the prosecutor general office, an Iranian citizen, Basirat  Sayedmortaza, who was transporting concentrated bleach to Armenia, breached traffic rules on  the 5th of May 2013 near the town of Kapan in the southern Armenia. As a result his truck flipped over, causing a leak from the tanker. The bleach damaged part of the road and flew into the river of Vokhchi, killing its fish. -0-
