YEREVAN, April 1. / ARKA /. Armenia’s ministry of emergency situations said today the rapid melting of snow is not going to translate into flooding.
Hovhannes Khangeldyan, head of the ministry’s Center for Crisis Management, said there was no indication that the fast snowmelt would cause flooding.
He said night temperatures will stay below zero for several days although at daytime they may rise by 8-10 degrees.
