YEREVAN, August 23. / ARKA /. Some of the people who got serious injuries in a traffic accident today morning in the resort town of Dilijan were transported to Yerevan hospitals, the health ministry said.
On Friday, eighteen teachers of a school in Parakar village near Yerevan received various degree injuries when their bus taking them to Dilijan slid into an abyss.
Before the arrival of rescuers the injured were taken to the medical center of Dilijan. Doctors said two of them were in grave condition.
The ministry said health minister Derenik Dumanyan instructed promptly emergency teams in Dilijan, Ijevan and Yerevan to transport those with serious injuries to Yerevan. The ministry said six of the injured were taken to Erebuni medical center in Yerevan, two – to St. Gregory the Illuminator Hospital. Another passenger, brought to Yerevan, refused further medical care.
At the moment, four of the bus passengers are still in the medical center of Dilijan, four others were discharged after getting necessary medical care, and one with a tendon rupture was later taken to the Yerevan plastic and microsurgery hospital. The minister traveled today to Diliajn to see how the injured were being treated. ---0---
