YEREVAN, August 22. /ARKA/. Traffic on Armenia’s Vanadzor-Alaverdi road has already resumed after Wednesday’s rock fall, but threat still remains, Emergency Minister Armen Yeritsyan said Thursday at a regular Cabinet session.
He said that stones were removed from the road and traffic resumed by the same day’s evening, but there are rocks that may fall in the event of showers or shocks.
“Traffic on this section of the road is open now and everything is being done to neutralize the threat of new rock falls,” the minister said. --0----
