Wreck removal after half-constructed building collapse in Yerevan launched

YEREVAN, October 25. /ARKA/. Wreck removal is launched at the site where a half-constructed building collapsed in Yerevan Thursday, Novosti-Armenia reports.

Rescuers of Armenia’s Emergency Situation Ministry continue looking for injured individuals under the wrecks. 
Two ambulance cars are available for emergency situations.

The collapse of a building at 20, Khanjyan street was reported to the Ministry of Emergency at 13:10 local time (the same as Moscow time). The special rescue group duty team of the crisis management center of Armenian Ministry of Emergencies and six squads arrived at the accident site.

Eleven injured were transported to “Grigor Lusavorich” medical center. Five of them are in a grave condition.

Health Minister of Armenia Derenik Dumanyan visited Grigor Lusavorich center to get familiar with the health conditions of the injured. -0-
