Yerevan Djur claims it has no responsibility for enteric infection episodes in Oshakan and Voskevaz
YEREVAN, August 30. /ARKA/. Yerevan Djur water supply company does not bear any responsibility for the outbreak of enteric infection in Oshakan and Voskevaz villages of Aragatsotn region of Armenia, the company’s press office reported.
On August 28, five cases of enteric infection were recorded in the villages of Oshakan and Voskevaz. The state hygienic and antiepidemic inspectorate arranged house-to-house visits in the villages and revealed another 58 diseased.
Earlier, the head of local hygienic and antiepidemic inspectorate Anna Harutiunyan told “Armenia” TV the villages are within the service area of Yerevan Djur.
But Yerevan Djur’s press office claims the villages are not under their responsibility and the company is not to be blamed for the outbreak.
