YEREVAN, October 29. / ARKA /. Military industry will become a new direction in the Armenian-American cooperation, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said on Monday at a joint news conference with the visiting chief of US Navy, Ray Mabus.
"As a post-Soviet country, Armenia has mostly Soviet and Russia-manufactured weapons, but today we have the opportunities to introduce various advanced standards. We can share experience with the United States," Ohanyan said.
According to him, the exchange of experience will be very important for Armenia in several areas, particularly regarding fire arms, optical means that Armenia can upgrade. -0-
